9th Circuit Prevails Over SB2

Joe Drammissi discusses the recent ruling by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals regarding SB2, a California bill that restricted the carrying of firearms in public places.

The preliminary injunction against this portion of SB2 was initially reinstated by the 9th Circuit, but another panel later put the injunction back in place until the case is argued in appeals court in April. He expresses relief for the temporary restoration of the right to self-protection in California but raises concerns about the potential impact of gun-control laws on innocent individuals.

 

All in all, Joe Drammissi calls for active voter engagement in order to safeguard law abiding citizens, like us, from the potential detrimental effects of such laws.
