CLASS DATES | TERMS & CONDITIONS
All concealed carry classes in San Diego are conducted in-person or Online throughout San Diego County, California. CCW range classes and most private lessons are held at private outdoor facilities in Escondido or Alpine.
We offer indoor classrooms in La Mesa and El Cajon for select group classes. Private lessons and range qualification courses may also be conducted in Kearney Mesa at The Gun Range San Diego, located at 7853 Balboa Avenue (indoor public shooting range). Online Courses are also available if you have a busy schedule.
CCW USA is known for providing some of the best private outdoor range facilities in Southern California, with locations in Escondido and Alpine. For CCW Initial and CCW Renewal students who prefer a convenient indoor classroom setting, we host two (2) indoor classes each month. A separate range qualification is required and is completed during our Monday night Range Quals at The Gun Range San Diego in Kearney Mesa.
If your Initial application was submitted online to the San Diego Sheriff’s Department AFTER January 1, 2024
You will need to complete 16-Hours of Training for your Initial CCW Permit. This is two-full 8-hour days of Training. The Course cost is $249.00 for the Classroom Day, and $299.00 for the Range Training Day. You can take either class first but must complete both courses prior to being issued a 16-Hour Certificate. CCW Renewal Applicants may attend their 8-Hour Renewal Course up to six (6) months Prior to expiration, and should renew through the Sheriff’s CCW Pro online system 90-days prior to that expiration date.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Refund Policy
Payments for scheduled training classes or private lessons conducted by CCW USA Firearms Training are subject to this Refund Policy. Registration for a training class or private lesson indicates the student’s agreement with the terms and conditions of this policy.
Cancellations and No-Shows
If a scheduled class or private lesson is cancelled by CCW USA Firearms Training, registered students will receive a full refund, or may reschedule for another class date. If a student cancels a class or private lesson more than 3 days in advance of the scheduled class, the student will receive a 100% Credit toward a different class date. If a student cancels within 72 hours of a scheduled class or Private Lesson or fails to appear at the class, the student forfeits the paid tuition. No refunds will be given.
Removal From Class
If a student is removed from class due to repeated safety violations, intoxication, or other disruptive behavior, the student forfeits the paid tuition and no refund will be given.
Foreign National Policy
NRA cannot provide any assistance in training foreign persons due to conflicting information from the U.S. Government regarding regulations pertinent to foreign persons and arms training. NRA cannot process any requests for assistance in training foreign persons. In view of the above, we regret to inform you that NRA cannot renew NRA firearm trainer credentials for any foreign national.
