ADVANCED LOW-LIGHT TACTICS TRAINING - PRIVATE AND GROUP CLASSES
A large percentage of armed exchanges occur at night, or in reduced light conditions. This course is designed for the experienced shooter that would like to improve their gun handling and Defensive Handgun skills in a Low-Light Training environment. Three hours of range instruction will cover the safe use of a defensive handgun and Tactical Flashlight during reduced light and evening training scenarios.
Topics covered include:flashlight techniques, weapons-mounted lights, use of night sights, target identification and acquisition, low-light specific tactics
Required equipment:

150 rounds of factory or quality reloaded ammunition

Fundamentals of tactical illumination
Communication in low-light conditions
Target isolation and weapons identification
Low-light shooting and flashlight manipulation
Dominating with light
Ambidextrous and one-handed shooting
alternative shooting positions
Shoot – No Shoot Scenarios
Prerequisite for this course: You must have completed a State issued Conceal Carry permit course, Personal Protection in the Home, Personal Protection Outside the Home, Law Enforcement/U.S. Military certification in Pistol, IDPA Sharpshooter or higher classification or other acceptable training subject to approval of the Instructor.
Course Fee: $100 per person, SATURDAY, AUGUST 28TH, 6:00PM TO 10:00PM or By appointment, PRIVATE and group classes of three or more Intermediate to Advanced Students, may be scheduled during the week or on weekends, from 6:00PM to 10:00PM. Call for scheduling and availability.

HOST A CLASS IN YOUR AREA:
If you host a Class in your local community, you can attend the class for FREE! Classes are scheduled primarily in Southern California. However, if you have a group of ten or more people and are interested in hosting a class, I will waive your $150.00 course fee. Our mobile training team is available to travel to your location. We have offered classes throughout California and Nevada. Contact us for availability.

ADVANCED DEFENSIVE HANDGUN CLINIC
This course is designed for Intermediate and Advanced shooters, that would like to improve their gun handling and Defensive Handgun skills. Three hours of range instruction will cover the safe use of a defensive handgun, Firearm Safety, Gun Handling, and the basic fundamentals of Defensive Handgun shooting. We will also cover the draw, speed reloads, tactical reloads, malfunction clearing, use of cover, move-shoot-move drills, getting off the "X", shooting while moving, and engaging multiple targets.
What you'll need for the course:
• One high quality defensive handgun in good working condition
• 3 magazines, sturdy gun belt, holster and double magazine pouch
• Test fire your gun before class to ensure it works!
• Clean and lubricate your gun before you come to class
• 150 rounds of factory new or high quality reloaded ammunition
• ANSI/OSHA approved Safety Glasses
• Hearing protection, hat or cap with a bill
• Dress comfortable for outdoor activities, athletic shoes or boots
• NO Sandals, flip flops, or open toe shoes
• Bring plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen
• Rental Guns and ammunition may be available with advanced notice.

INSTRUCTOR TRAINING - HSC (HANDGUN SAFETY CERTIFICATE) INSTRUCTORS NEEDED!
Become a DOJ Certified Handgun Safety Instructor!
As a Department Of Justice HSC Instructor, you can teach Basic Handgun Safety Classes, administer the written test, verify safe handling demonstrations, and issue HSC Cards to your students interested in purchasing a handgun in the State of California. Employees of Gun Shops, Gun Club Members, Firearms Instructors, and those interested in sharing their knowledge of Firearm Safety are encouraged to attend this course.
Effective January 1, 2003, the Basic Firearms Safety Certificate Program was replaced with the Handgun Safety Certificate Program. These new statutes affect the general public in two principal ways. First, unless exempt, individuals must possess a Handgun Safety Certificate (HSC) prior to purchasing or acquiring a handgun. Second, unless exempt, individuals must perform a safe handling demonstration prior to taking delivery of a handgun from a licensed dealer.
HSCs are acquired by taking and passing a written test on handgun safety, generally at participating firearms dealerships and private firearms training facilities.
Classes can be scheduled at your location or ours, 2 to 4 hours DOE. All classes on this page can be scheduled as Private or Private Group Classes.

CONCEALED CARRY TACTICS CLASS
Now that you have your CCW Permit, it’s time to learn some real-world CCW tactics for Self-Defense on the street. Our Civilian CCW Tactics Class is three (3) hours of hands-on, Self-Defense training specifically designed for individuals that legally carry a concealed firearm. If you are licensed to carry a concealed weapon, this class is for you! Instruction includes tactics, techniques, and situational evolutions for people who carry a concealed weapon for business or personal protection. Your weapon is holstered, and the assailant initiates a sudden surprise attack at close range, What will you do? Shoot? Don’t Shoot? Before you have time to deploy your firearm, you must be able to initiate reflexive "empty hand" techniques to deal with the immediate threat (e.g., the knife at your throat). You will learn simple and effective physical techniques that deal with a wide array of empty hand and weapon related problems.
CCW TACTICS TRAINING INCLUDES:
Drawing from Concealment, Use of Cover and Concealment, Close Distance and Tactical Movement, Distance and Time-frames, Defending Against Realistic Threats and Attacks; Impact Weapons, Knife Attacks; Knife Threats; Handgun Threats and Handgun Attacks.

This course uses inert "Blue" Training guns or guns that have been rendered inert by adding a "YELLOW" 5.11/Blade-Tech Training Barrel.

RANGE SAFETY OFFICER
 This course is designed to prepare experienced shooters for the basic duties of a Range Safety Officer (RSO). RSO’s ensure that the users of a range follow range regulations in order to reduce the potential for personal injury and property damage. RSO’s often have responsibilities to take immediate action when circumstances require it. The RSO is the range's official on the firing line to ensure safety and to help shooters.
Becoming a Range Safety Officer is a huge responsibility, similar to becoming a NRA Certified Instructor, with much harder testing and the maintaining of a certification card with the NRA. RSO candidates will need to pay $25.00 for processing their application and $5.00 annually to maintain their certification.

Prerequisites
NRA Range Safety Officers should be experienced shooters, involved in many aspects of target shooting, training, and range supervision. The NRA encourages active shooters to learn more and become responsible for the safety of fellow shooters through this program. There will be practical exercises with all types of firearms in this course, even if a shooter's discipline does not require experience with those types.
Course Completion
Students will receive feedback on the practical exercises conducted during the course. There is a short written test on the lesson material at the end of the course. A 90% score is required to obtain certification. In addition, certification will require mailing in the appropriate documents along with a $25 fee for processing.
This full day course is normally scheduled on a Saturday or Sunday, however arrangements can be made to conduct RSO training at your range or facility during the week. Please contact us via email if you would like to be added to our RSO Course waiting list.
